HISTORY
Randall Manor Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room is located in a two story frame house, built in 1912. The house is located in East Central Illinois and was built by Orvea and Ethel Randall, to serve as their home and residence for their farmhands. The house is situated on a working 300 acre cropland farm.

The materials for the house were purchased from Sears, Roebuck & Co. through their mail order catalogue and shipped from their factory near Cairo, Illinois by rail car to the owner's nearest depot. The house was then constructed by local carpenters and contractors.

The house is still in much of its original condition other than interior decorating and periodic exterior maintenance. Its country charm and elegance allows everyone to connect with the past when the century was new and the country was optimistic and idealistic. Sometimes at night you can 'listen' to the house and imagine what life was like when the house was the new place in the country.
